With 5 clutch surfaces, the Hi5 increases your torque holding capacity by 5x and has been tested to handle up to 3480lb-ft of torque. With a complete bolted together assembly, you can unbolt, rebuild and replace your clutch pack in the pits or in your shop. Eliminate extra shipping, inspection, or service charges associated with non-rebuildable torque converters. You can do all the required maintenance with simple hand tools. The removable billet cover is held in place using a tongue and groove design and locked in place with 12 removable bolts. The cover is sealed using a captive O-ring groove for easy maintenance without the use of sealant. The apply piston's dampener springs assist in a smooth, solid engagement of the lock up clutches while the self-centering teeth design increase contact area and decreases wear and chatter. The furnace brazed turbine and impeller improve the strength and overall efficiency.
